Job description
Under the direct supervision of the Chief Executive Officer, the Business Services Coordinator (AP/Payroll) will be responsible for overall assistance to the Chief Executive Officer in ensuring the agency procedures and policies remain in compliance with appropriate Federal and State laws regulating administration in accordance with the Funding Terms and Conditions outlined within Title 5, State Department of Education Funding Terms and Conditions, Child Adult Care Food Program and the California Taxation Regulations for Non Profit Corporations.
Searching for a self motivated Accounts Payable/Fiscal Clerk to work in local Non-Profit organization. Must be proficient in Quickbooks.
Job requirements
Ø Prepare monthly financial and statistical reports and statements in a timely and accurate fashion;
Ø Under guidelines established by CPA firm verify, allocate funds, prepare, process general journal and accrual entries of all program accounts; transfer to general ledger/ QuickBooks in a timely manner;
Ø Process Accounts Payable within deadlines (i.e. preventing late fees);
Ø Audit invoices, vouchers, checks and bank reconciliation ensuring accuracy and avoiding any double charges or payments towards the organization;
Ø Under guidelines established by CPA firm verify, allocate funds, prepare, process general journal and accrual entries of all program accounts; transfer to general ledger/ QuickBooks in a timely manner;
Ø Complete detailed budget development for grant application submission as requested;
